Coffee and Chicory
Due to a coffee shortage during the Civil War, New Orleanians began extending their coffee supply by adding chicory, the root of the endive plant, roasted and ground. The result was a bittersweet, heavy-bodied brew. Coffee and chicory remains a New Orleans favorite today.

I am a Community Tea addict. When we (disabled hubby & I) travel we carry our own boxes of Community Decaffeinated Family size tea bags. Sweet or unsweet - I want my Community Tea! South Texas to Minnesota I have introduced family & friends to Community Tea & take enough each time to leave them a box or 3. Keep making this Louisiana gal proud by making a GREAT Louisiana labeled product! THANKS!

Absolutely the best tea I've ever had! And I've been drinking iced tea for nearly 50 years... The company describes it to a "T" :-) by saying that it is always crystal clear, bright, and never bitter (because it is). The tea is so smooth and totally refreshing. Since moving from the south where I first found Community Coffee, I'm thrilled to be able to order it online from the east coast. Thank you!
