Coffee and Chicory
Due to a coffee shortage during the Civil War, New Orleanians began extending their coffee supply by adding chicory, the root of the endive plant, roasted and ground. The result was a bittersweet, heavy-bodied brew. Coffee and chicory remains a New Orleans favorite today.

Hazelnut is not the best all around choice compared to some of your blends like the Cafe and Kona. The best offer would be to let the customer choose the blends s/he wants and whether whole bean or ground.

My Rating:

I really would love to order this gift for myself and as gifts, but will not because of the Hazelnut choise. This is a very bad choice of coffee. Not a popular flavor - prefer a basic or let us choose a coffee. No one in my circle of friends and acquantances would drive hazelnut. Bummer on this selection.
