Due to a coffee shortage during the Civil War, New Orleanians began extending their coffee supply by adding chicory, the root of the endive plant, roasted and ground. The result was a bittersweet, heavy-bodied brew. Coffee and chicory remains a New Orleans favorite today.

I was introduced to Community Coffee, just yesterday and let me tell you this is the best! This is coming from a 15 year veteran OTR Truck driver, so I KNOW good coffee!
I was introduced to Community Coffee when I lived in Mississippi. It made me a coffee drinker. I live in another state now and I truly miss my CC. I often order online. It is worth the few extra dollars. Some things you just don't go cheap on. Coffee is one of them.
this coffee is the best you can every drink. i just love this coffee.
I was introduced to Community Coffee by a relative in California. The Medium Roast and Hazelnut groud coffee are my favorites. Community Coffee is the only brand I brew in my home now. Thank you for the perfect cup every morning!
Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, and having a CC's on every corner is something I miss very much. So, having it shipped to me here in Palm Beach,FL is a blessing. Thank you CC! K.Wyble
Grew up in Louisiana now living in New England. Still have to start my day with Community Coffee, nothing else will do. Makes me feel like I'm home. Jay LaRocque Northfield, MA
I got hooked on Community Coffee while working in Louisiana. It is the best in the world. Back here in Kansas everyone who has tried it, loves it!!!!
There are no other words that do justice for this coffee. I have been all over the world and Community Medium Roast is the best coffee hands down. I told the girls at the Kona Coffee Company in Hawaii that I would send them a pack of good coffee after drinking Kona coffee.Dale
Will only buy this brand of coffee! The Meduim Roast is excellent.
This is now our official workplace coffee. What an upgrade! By far the favorite of all. Keep up the great quality.
I worked within seeing distance from your roasting plant in Port Allen for 3 years. CC was a staple of our diet. Since we moved to Florida two years ago, I've seen CC in the stores here twice. So we stock up online just in case we can't find it local.
My husband and I used to go to a restaurant here in our home town almost every weekend and when they switched to this coffee we liked it so much, we had to go buy it for ourselves. When I describe this brand to my friends, I have to tell them that I think it's the best coffee out there and the price is great. Honestly, I really don't like coffee but I crave this stuff in the morning. I have to have it! Thanks for bringing it here to Texas.
the best coffee I have ever,
Just because I live in Wyoming doesn't mean I have to miss out on my great Louisiana coffee! Only thing is, now I have to send some to Reno, Nevada to my stepdaughter as she was just here and absolutely loved my Community Coffee! Word is spreading fast.
