CC's Community Coffee House® "Goes Red" to Raise Awareness for American Heart Association
February 02, 2011-
BATON ROUGE, LA-CC’s Community Coffee
House® is helping to raise awareness for National Wear Red Day® with its employees
and customers. All CC’s employees will
wear red T-shirts in the coffeehouses on February 4, and customers who visit
any CC’s location on that day wearing red will receive 10 percent off their
beverage and pastry purchases.
“In
keeping with CC’s Guilt-Free program which features lower calorie coffee drinks
and pastries and partnerships with local health clubs, we thought participating
in the ‘Go Red’ campaign with the American Heart Association goes hand-in-hand
with helping our customers live healthier lifestyles,” said Celton Hayden, General Manager of Retail Operations,
CC’s Community Coffee House.
“CC’s
joins thousands of hospitals, small businesses, schools, and other individuals
to help raise crucial awareness and funds in the fight against heart disease,
the number one killer of women,” said Hayden.
In addition to raising awareness, CC’s employees will be
assisting through a variety of volunteer efforts for the American Heart
Association’s Capitol Area Start! Heart Walk. The event will take place on March 26,
2011 in Baton Rouge
and more information can be found online at http://capitalareaheartwalk.org.
