Last Month to Submit UPC Labels for 2016-17 Fundraising Efforts
January 3, 2017, Baton Rouge, LA — In the spirit of the New Year, Community Coffee Company is reminding schools and students to participate in this year’s Community Cash for Schools® program by collecting Proofs of Purchase from all Community® brand products. The deadline to submit these labels and earn cash is January 30, 2017.
Last year, 826 schools participated in the Community Cash for Schools® program and earned over $368,000 for their teachers and students. These funds are used for programs and initiatives that best serve students’ needs, including but not limited to new playground equipment, textbooks, computers, whiteboards, school events and more.
“As the Community Cash for Schools® program comes to a close this month, we want to make sure that local schools take advantage of this opportunity to earn money for their students,” said Jodi Conachen, General Manager of Communication at Community Coffee Company. “Our hope is that the number of participants continues to grow, so we can continue to give our students the very best education and resources possible.”
To sign up, school administrators should visit CommunityCoffee.com/CashforSchools and click on the “Enroll Online” link. Before enjoying a rich, smooth cup of Community® coffee, customers should remember to save Proof of Purchase labels from all Community® products. After collecting these labels, school administrators can then download the Tracking Form online and bundle all labels as instructed. Once submitted, these product Proofs of Purchase are redeemed for cash that each school can allocate at its discretion.
Community® coffee is available for purchase on the company website and at grocery stores throughout the Southeast region of the United States. For more information, please visit CommunityCoffee.com.
