Community Coffee Company Team Helps Clean-up for St. Bernard Project

Mar 24, 2014

New Orleans, La - Leaders at Community Coffee Company participated in the St. Bernard Project's rebuilding efforts. The St. Bernard Project (SBP) is an award-winning rebuilding, nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure that disaster-impacted communities recover in a prompt, efficient, and predictable way.

"Being able to give back to our home state, where our Community Brand started, is so important and relates well to the spirit of hospitality on which we built our business," said David Belanger, President and CEO of Community Coffee Company.

In coordination with the National Coffee Association's service day, Community Coffee Company leaders removed Hurricane Katrina debris from a home in St. Bernard Parish undergoing renovations.  The home stands only blocks from where the levee broke in 2005 after Katrina hit.
