Since chicory tends to darken coffee, this darkness has often been misconstrued as meaning the coffee will be bitter or stronger. Chicory diabetes "A cup before meals helps with blood sugar levels add 1 table spoon Chia seed creating a gel keeps glucose levels low and keeps from going hypo below 70 along with weight loss. Just 1 tsp chicory per 6 oz water goes a long way. Coffee will rise insulin blood levels causing hypoglycemic reaction."

Dorothy & Gary "Wonderful product for a wonderful price! You can decide what amount of chicory you wish to add to your coffee. It really does make the taste richer and fuller. Just about can't do without it anymore! :) And in that it is an herb that can be used for other reasons, it's a real delight to have found this."

Chicory "I have visited NOLA many times and became a big coffee and chicory fan. About two years ago, I discovered Community Coffee Chicory. I mix it with a lot of different coffees and it really brings out the flavor and color that you look for in a good cup. Mostly drink 1 measure chicory to 3 measures of Costco's 100% columbian in a 10 cup coffee maker. Great stuff! It gotten rave reviews from a lot of friends who are committed high end coffee drinkers. Thanks."
