Supporting Legacies with Every Sip

More than one million servicemen and servicewoman make up the United States active military force. They put their lives on the line and make the ultimate sacrifice for us. While we have holidays to honor service members, we can’t forget about their families back home that might need help.

In an effort to help serve those who serve us, we’re pleased to introduce the new American Classic blend—a special medium roast in honor of the men and women who have served and still serve our country. Through July 2019, Community Coffee Company will donate a portion of proceeds to Folds of Honor for every bag and single-serve box of Community® American Classic™ coffee purchased.

What is Folds of Honor?
Founded in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, a PGA Professional and F-16 fighter pilot in the Air Force Reserves who served three tours of duty in Iraq, Folds of Honor is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.

Since its inception, Folds of Honor has awarded almost 20,000 educational scholarships to recipients in all 50 states. In 2018 alone, Folds of Honor awarded nearly $20 million in educational scholarships. These educational scholarships support school tuition and tutoring for children in grades K-12, as well as higher education tuition assistance for spouses and dependents. Learn more about Folds of Honor and its mission in our blog post here.
