Disaster Relief

Thanks to our network of resources, Community Coffee is uniquely positioned to provide a rapid response to natural disasters. Community Coffee provides free coffee to shelters for evacuees and first responders and has provided funds to affected areas.

Hurricane Relief Efforts

In an effort to serve our struggling community, this fall we will donate proceeds up to $150,000 from the sale of Community® coffee products to benefit flood and hurricane relief efforts through the Salvation Army. We also provided more than 558,424 cups of Community® coffee and tea along with equipment to flood evacuees and first responders in Texas and Florida.

On top of these efforts, we will also be donating 10% of proceeds (up to $100,000) from the sale of all Community® coffee products sold in Texas to benefit flood relief efforts*. The Texas sales locations supporting us will be Albertsons, Brookshire’s, Costco, Fiesta, Kroger, Sam’s Club, Spring Market, Tom Thumb, Target, Walmart and more.

Additionally, with every purchase of the Community® LSU Blend™ coffee in retail grocery locations in Louisiana, the company will donate 15% of those proceeds (up to $50,000) as well.

*From Friday, September 8, 2017 – Sunday, October 15, 2017, Community Coffee Company will donate 10% of the proceeds (up to $100,000) from the sale of all Community® coffee products in retail grocery locations in Texas to benefit the Salvation Army – Hurricane Harvey.

Giving Efforts

We care about making great coffee, but what’s also important to us is looking after the people and the places that have been with us every step of the way.
