Garlic Herb Steak Butter with Community Coffee

Community Coffee Garlic Herb Steak Butter


  • 1 lb. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. green onions sliced thin
  • 1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves chopped fine
  • 3 Tbsp. of parsley chopped fine
  • 3 cloves garlic chopped fine
  • 2 tsp. Community Coffee Signature Blend Dark Roast
  • 1 ½ tsp. Kosher salt
  • ½ tsp. coarse ground black pepper


Remove butter from fridge and add to stand mixer or use a hand held mixer. Whip butter until softened and creamy in consistency.

Place all ingredients in bowl and whisk on medium high speed for 2-3 minutes to ensure all ingredients are blended well. Remove butter and scoop out onto parchment paper and roll into a cylinder. Place in refrigerator or freezer to let set.

Garlic Herb Coffee Butter Finished

Community Coffee Steak Seasoning Blend


Mix all together and set aside.


Use steak of your choice and rub 1 Tbsp. of extra virgin olive oil on both sides of the steak. Using the Community Coffee Steak Seasoning Blend, season both sides of the steak. Place on a hot grill or cast iron skillet cooking 2 to 3 minutes on each side for a medium rare temperature. Feel free to cook longer for desired temperature. Remove steak from the grill or pan and place on serving plate. Slice 2 oz. piece of the Community Coffee Garlic Herb Steak Butter and place on top of the steak and let melt. Add your favorite sides and serve!
