This is only accomplished through a partnership with its customers.
“Every day, our U.S. military men and women show us what it truly means to go beyond,” said Jodi Conachen, Community Coffee Company spokesperson. “It can be so important to our servicemen and servicewomen to get a care package from home. And, of course, we’d suggest a little cup of home -- a great cup of coffee goes a long way to provide comfort. We are deeply honored to have shipped more than 20,000 pounds of coffee to our servicemen and servicewomen since 2008.”
Community Coffee Company supports the U.S. military personnel by doubling orders to ensure servicemen and servicewomen get a cup of home. Customers purchase four bags of Community® coffee for those serving, and the company matches the order with four additional bags to military addresses (APO/FPO addresses).
“The coffee that we receive while deployed to Kuwait through the Military Match Program was like a slice of home here in the Middle East,” said CPT Noel S. Bellas, Commander 1021st Vertical Engineer Company, Louisiana Army National Guard, Kuwait. "It really had a positive impact on the morale of our Soldiers to have something as familiar as Community Coffee in the mornings because Community Coffee is our overwhelming brand of choice for the majority of our Soldiers in the 1021st EN CO. We have shared it with our sister units from around the country.”
Customers have the opportunity to choose one type of these five traditional ground roasted coffees: Dark Roast 16 oz., Between Roast 16 oz., Medium Roast 16 oz., New Orleans Blend® Coffee and Chicory 16 oz., and Decaffeinated 13 oz. All customers need are valid overseas military addresses (APO/FPO addresses). The eight bags plus a signature Military Match mug will be shipped to the APO/FPO address provided. Community Coffee Company does encourage at least 30 business days for an order to arrive to some overseas destinations. The company covers the shipping cost of the additional 4 bags of coffee.
Community Coffee Company expresses a sincere THANK YOU to all veterans past, present and future. With the New Year, Community Coffee Company begins its march toward continued support for our military overseas and encourages participation in the program.
