Baton Rouge, LA – Community Coffee Company, the largest family-owned and operated retail coffee brand in the United States, has promoted Chuck McMillan to director of national accounts for its coffee service division. He previously held the position of senior general manager of coffee service marketing.
“Chuck has been instrumental to the success of our coffee service division through his marketing leadership and overall industry expertise. His in-depth knowledge and background as a coffee expert has helped position him for his new role of leading our national sales team,” said John Deutschman, vice president of the coffee service division at Community Coffee Company.
McMillan joined the Company in 2016 and has been critical to the marketing and innovation success of Community Coffee Company’s products and services. In his previous role, his team developed programs targeting reductions in customer attrition as well as programs targeting consumption growth. His team, also, supported growth in many of Community coffee Company’s largest national account customers all across the United States.
McMillan has held various strategic leadership roles throughout his career and has worked in the coffee industry for well over a decade. Additionally, McMillan is a veteran of the United States Army where he received two letters of commendation and the Army Achievement Medal for his service during the 1991 Gulf War in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Troy University, Troy, Ala., and a master’s in business administration from Brenau University, Kings Bay Naval Station, Kings Bay, Ga.
