Baton Rouge, LA – Today, Community Coffee Company announced the promotions of three employees to executive leadership positions.
Frank Mays accepted a promotion to Vice President of Operations. Mays joined the Company in November of 2015, and most recently served as Senior Director of Operations. In his new role, Mays is responsible for blueprinting and leading Community Coffee’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain strategies.
Mays has over 23 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience. He has worked for top Fortune 500 companies where he gained manufacturing, engineering, quality, procurement, leadership and business operations experience. He is a former U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Lieutenant. Mays earned a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy, MD and his MBA in operations management at Union College, NY.
Ryan Schemmel accepted a promotion to the position of Senior Vice President of Grocery Sales and E-Commerce Divisions. Schemmel joined Community Coffee Company in August of 2017. He brings nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, digital development, and grocery with a focus on e-commerce growth and strategy to his new role.
He previously served as vice president of a national condiment company, where he was responsible for one-third of the company’s retail business. Schemmel has also held several positions with other national and international retail brands. In his new role, Schemmel will develop and lead the Company’s growth strategies for both Grocery Sales and E-Commerce. Schemmel has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi.
