Baton Rouge, LA, May 2019 — Community Coffee Company is pleased to announce that the Louisiana state government commemorated its centennial anniversary with an official resolution in the House of Representatives. Louisiana State Representative Steve Carter (District 68) worked to pass a resolution on Monday, May 20 to celebrate Community’s 100th year in business.
Since its founding in 1919, Community Coffee Company has maintained an unwavering dedication to its home state and the communities of Louisiana. Community regularly gives back to the region through a variety of initiatives and partnerships, such as the Community Cash for Schools® program, Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana, Junior Achievement of Greater Baton Rouge & Acadiana and more. In 1987, Community® coffee was named the official State Coffee of Louisiana™ by its customers and in 2009 the House passed a resolution in honor of the company’s 90th anniversary.
