Community Coffee Company’s Military Match Program Sees Continued Growth
With the close of 2018, Community Coffee Company has shipped approximately 7 million cups of Community® coffee to active-duty military personnel around the world through its Military Match program.
This milestone was reached thanks to an ongoing partnership between Community Coffee Company and its incredible customers. When customers order four bags or single-serve boxes of Community® coffee from the Military Match program, Community Coffee doubles that order for free and sends it to any overseas or stateside military address. Some orders even include personal, handwritten notes from Community Coffee team members expressing thanks and appreciation for all that our servicemen and servicewomen do.
“The Military Match program is about thanking our military for their sacrifice and giving them a small taste of home,” said Jodi Conachen, senior manager of communications at Community Coffee Company. “Of the almost 1.3 million men and women who serve in the United States military, nearly 200,000 are stationed abroad, far from their homes and their families. We want to remind each and every service member that they are missed, loved and respected.”
Military Match Overview
Customers purchase four bags or boxes of Community® coffee from CommunityCoffee.com for those serving in the military. The company then matches the order with four additional bags or boxes, ships the extra four items at its cost and sends a total of eight items plus a signature Military Match mug. The customer supplies the overseas (APO/FPO) or stateside military base address.
