Rated 5 out of 5 by Jenny S from Perfect smooth dark blend This is a full bodied dark roast that doesn't taste burnt. I like to add cinnamon to the grounds, it helps with the bitterness. The flavor is amazing, no sugar needed just a bit of milk. I think this is my new favorite regular coffee!

Lots of companies try, but this one is a winner. Elegantly "Acadiana." Smooth tones and a richness that encapsulates the people and region of South Louisiana. Brings me back to Sunday mornings back home.

Evangeline is one of my favorite Community Cup coffees. I also like the Cafe Special and I will mix it with one of the CC darker roasts such as Evangeline or French Roast. Thank you. I am a convert to CC coffee forever.

I ordered this with several I had not previously tried- Guatemala, Mexico, Pecan Praline and of course some of the old standbys. Out of them all I actually prefer the Guatemala overall. Everyone's taste buds are different!

Sometimes we use Evangeline Blend Coffee by itself. Our favorite is a blend equal parts of Evangeline Blend Coffee, Columbian Toledo Labateca and. Brazil Santos Bourbon.

After trying this Evangeline blend, it’s a tie! Evangeline has a good strong flavor, no bitterness or aftertaste. You will be as happy with this choice of coffee as I have been.

I have an old, small Salton manufactured machine that is designed to make an "espresso-like" brewed coffee and then has a small steaming wand for milk/water. These beans ground well in my coffee grinder, unlike another dark coffee I had where the oils were extruding out of the beans and leaving residual grindings behind in the grinder. The flavor is pleasant, I haven't noticed anything off or bitter about the product. I definitely would buy again.

I’ve been ordering the different Community coffees to see which ones I like the most, and to me, the Evangeline blend has very little taste. I tried varying the amount of beans I used, but that did not help. I will not be ordering this variety again, but Community Coffee does have other great coffees!
