A sweet treat!
The chocolate peppermint coffee is a regular holiday favorite for me. I love to enjoy it with guests. I put half and half in all my coffee. At first I noticed a bit of aftertaste I didn't care for in this flavor. Then I realized a little bit of added sugar made it just right.

Too strong on its own
The flavor is too overwhelming on its own. Taste testers must have been out of the office that day. Diluted with something else around 50-50 (I'm using New Orleans blend) it is much better.

LOVE THIS FLAVOR!!!!
I love this coffee, I cant wait for it to have it again. My mom has never like flavored coffee, but when she tried it she loved it. It may not be for everyone but it is for me!!!! I only wish i could get it year round.

I am upset this is only seasonal flavor
I love Dark Chocolate Peppermint and now I cant find it any where. Why do we have to wait until holiday season to get this? I drink this every day. If I can't buy it in the store why not make it available online. What I wouldn't do for a bag or two now. I guess I have to wait until holiday season again but itd not fair.

I never liked peppermint coffees...
But I love this one! The perfect blend of chocolate and mint. As a dessert, I blend in some cacao and stevia with a splash of half and half. The mocha mint treat of your dreams!

Fantastic aroma!
I bought this on a whim when I purchased New Orleans blend & Pecan Praline, however I believe I have a new favorite!The chocolate is perfect, great addition. Hope it is not seasonal.

Good dark chocolate flavor
I was excited to purchase this product because I imagined enjoying a York Peppermint Patty in a coffee cup. However, the product didn't have much of a peppermint taste. The dark chocolate taste is there and is pleasant. I ordered several bags so maybe the others will have that hint of peppermint I am seeking.

Not as bold as I expected
I bought it again for my daughter. It does not have the bold taste of chocolate and peppermint I expected, but it is different from the Dark Roast I usually drink. There is just a hint of the chocolate and the peppermint, but it is enough. I really enjoy it as a change of flavor from my usual.

Wonderful aroma
Not only does it taste good but it smells wonderful when brewing. I found I wanted more coffee per brew, my friend preferred less so try until you find your own strength. I prefer my coffee black so haven't tried it with cream - perhaps one day but right now I'm enjoying my dark chocolate with peppermint.

An interesting flavor
I enjoy all of the community coffee flavors. Both the chocolate and the peppermint blend well with the coffee flavor and it is a nice cup of coffee when friends come over. It just tastes good. I'm glad community has a website where all of their coffee is available.

I don't know what some of these people are drinking but this coffee smells and tastes great. If someone from Community Coffee is reading this it needs a touch more of peppermint. Then it would be perfect.

The label SOUNDS great .... but the reality is that the coffee tastes nothing like dark chocolate and peppermint --- Very unpleasant chemical odor and taste. Made one pot; all but one cup went down the drain, and the rest of the package in the trash. NOT recommended. Sad, since the other Community coffees have been excellent.

Disappointing
There was little flavor of either peppermint or chocolate. We only sensed burnt and bitter.This is the first time we've been dissatisfied ever.
We've been CC Customers for years and in fact, drink French Roast daily and by the case. We're huge fans of Community Coffee.

Doesn't smell like chocolate or peppermint. Doesn't taste llike chocolate or peppermint. Has only a slight medicinal or antiseptic taste. If your store were around the corner, I'd return the bags in a flash.

Smooth and laced with just enough peppermint
This coffee hits all the right notes, it's not too acidic or fruity tasting. The dark chocolate and peppermint do not overpower the coffee, instead, they enhance it. The only sad thing is I have to share it with my family.

Wanted to like it, bad aftertaste.
I wish I hadn’t bought so many bags :( This coffee has a very weird and funky bad aftertaste. Very disappointing. Try the Mardi Gras blend instead! The coffee with chickory is great too, especially for cold brew coffee.

Interesting but effective mixture
Mint and chocolate together is not my favorite combination, however Community Coffee has created a good flavor here. The flavors balance each other out well, and the result is a pleasant, not-too-sweet coffee that is of course well suited for dessert, but drinkable any time of day.

Tasted like Rubbin Alcohol!
My wife loves anything dark chocolate with peppermint for the Christmas. Normally, we prefer our Dark Roast Community coffee. We had good luck with the Pumpkin Spice flavor, so I decided to grab a bag of peppermint chocolate with the Auto-delivery. I was surprised how awful this flavor turned out! The Community Coffee dark chocolate peppermint smells great out of the bag, but it tastes terrible. Like rubbin alcohol and the chocolate flavor must’ve disappeared during brewing.

Like the mints on your hotel pillow
Love the coffee, smells like that certain brand of mint chocolate often found on hotel pillows. Tasty Community Coffee, loved it in Baton Rouge, order it exclusively in Northern Virginia. Thanks CCs for the happy mornings.

Makes every day a holiday
Not too choclatity. Not too peperminty. A great blend of both. And the aroma creates an instant holiday in your house. Outstanding afternoon or desert coffee. Buy an extra bag and save some for a distant day when you need a little Christmas.
