I normally drink Pike Place but was looking for something slightly stronger with similar bright notes and a pleasant aftertaste. I hoped New Orleans blend would be IT. It isn’t. While it is labeled a dark coffee, I would say that it is more of a medium roast. It has a disappointingly light body. My wife drinks Tasters Choice and I would say New Orleans has a similar body. Also, the package was shipped by Amazon via US Mail in an envelope with no padding, so the box was crushed. They sent a replacement box via Prime delivery when I complained about the condition of the product, but that, too was in less than good condition. Overall a disappointing experience. I do love the Mardi Gras blend though- 5 stars there!

I have been drinking it since 2013 when I experienced it in a Community Coffee Shop in New Orleans. After buying it in ground format for many years, I began purchasing it in 24 count K-cup packages via the online subscription service. I wish the 24 count packages were available again. Seems like I always need to repurchase more of the 12 count package size. Would hate to run out!

They have always be consistent in the quality and taste of the blend. The pods allow for the same consistent cup every time in my Keurig. I buy in quantity when it goes on sale and the freshness is the same all the way to the last pod.
