Mardi Gras King Cake Cream Cheese Cold Foam

Some king cakes are filled with cream cheese, so that got us thinking — what if we had a little cream cheese with our cold-brewed Mardi Gras King Cake coffee? The result is this delicious yet simple cold foam, the perfect topper for festive cold brew.

What You’ll Need | Cold Foam:

•    4 oz cream cheese, softened
•    6 Tbsp powdered sugar (adjust to your liking)
•    ½ cup half-and-half
•    1 cup heavy whipping cream
•    Mixing bowl
•    Whisk, electric mixer, or milk frother
•    Sealable storage container

Step 1: Soften Cream Cheese 

Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes to soften before mixing.

Step 2: Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Slowly pour in half-and-half and heavy whipping cream, mixing until all ingredients are blended well. Whip until the mixture forms soft peaks. 

Step 3: Serve & Store

Add cold foam mixture to your Mardi Gras King Cake cold brew, and enjoy! You can store the remaining cold foam in a sealable container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
