Not really worth the money.
This French press has a large capacity which is nice and the strainer is tight against the wall of the carafe, those are the only positives. The lid and base are both plastic, mine arrived with the base broken so it doesn't stand well. The carafe also isn't attached to the base and slides out if you aren't careful when you are using/pouring.

First time owning a French Press
I am super happy with the Bodum Java French Press. It is easy to use and easy to clean AND makes good coffee! I have not found that it is too fragile, like others have complained. I am seriously considering buying another Bodum Java press. It would be great to have two pots of coffee when we have people visit.

Bodum sent you a bad press and I got it !!!
First off let me say I LOVE COMMUNITY COFFEE
The quality of your coffee is superb (Coffee and Chicory being my favorite) But the Bodum french press I received with my last order is junk. The glass carafe sits so loosely inside the frame that it literally wobbles. There is no way the frame could be tightened enough to secure it either.

Serviceable Coffee Maker
This is replacement gift for my son who prefers this type of coffee. It looks very similar to the one he has now that lost its handle. I am sure it will work wonderfully when he receives it. Love your coffee. We have been loyal subscribers to Community Coffee and have been for several years.

You Can See It's Brewey Goodness!
My wife (a former barista working for those other people in green aprons) was dissatisfied with the perking-only abilities found in my kitchen. So I bought one of these for her to expand her abilities. And, wow! There IS a difference! If you want to get ALL the flavor from your coffee, then you need to up your game with one of these.
